Why do you need my postal code?

A postal code is required before we are able to share the full menu and pricing options with our guests. By sharing your postal code we are able to locally customize our website and show you the most accurate menu and prices available. Your information is never shared unless you specify otherwise.

Why won’t the website accept my postal code?

Our platform is connected with Canada Post. If our website is not accepting your postal code, please confirm the postal code on the Canada Post Website. If the postal code is confirmed by the website and continues to cause you any difficulty, it is possible that you are outside the delivery zones for our stores. You can always call your local store to confirm delivery zones. Try moving the option to carry out to place an order for pick up!

Why can’t I locate a store if there is one close to me?

Unfortunately, not all of our locations have transferred onto our online ordering platform. It is possible your location does not yet offer the option to place your order online. We are working to bring all of our stores online. It is also possible your address is beyond the delivery trade zone for your local store. You can always call your local store to confirm delivery zones. Try moving the option to carry out to place an order for pick up!

Why can’t I enter my address?

Once a postal code is entered the address field will auto populate. You may need to choose from a drop down list to select your street name. If you do not see your street you may need to confirm your postal code with Canada Post. It is also possible we do not have a location in your area. We are working on bringing more locations to our fans and hope to have a location near you soon!

Why can’t I add more toppings?

Providing our customers with properly cooked food is important to us. We love toppings too but when we over top our pizzas we risk the cook ability of our product. We have a 5 topping maximum on our “Create Your Own Pizzas

My Pizza is late! Who can I call?

To confirm your order has gone through or to check the status of your order, please call your local store for assistance. During busy times you may be connected with our ordering line.

How can I make a change to my online order?

To make any changes, additions, or corrections to your online order please call your local store directly. During busy times you may be connected to our ordering line. To avoid any inconveniences please review your online order before submitting it.

How will I know when the restaurant has received my Online Order?

How do I reset my password if I have lost or forgotten it?

If you have forgotten your password for your Pizza Hut Canada account no worries! Simply click the “Forgot Password".

What payment options are available through Internet Ordering?

When placing an order through our Internet Ordering system you can choose to pay with Cash, Credit or Debit. All of these payment methods can be made at the door (if delivery) and in-store when you are carrying out. When paying with Credit or Debit for the delivery option our drivers will be happy to assist you with Credit/Debit machines.

Can I save my credit card information for future online purchases?

Currently we do not store your credit card information on our site for future online purchases. You must present your credit card at the time of purchase for carry out or our drivers will bring Credit machines with them to assist you with payment.

Am I able to use Pizza Hut Gift Cards to complete my online purchases?

Currently you are unable to use Pizza Hut Gift Cards for online purchases. You can however use Pizza Hut Gift Cards at participating Pizza Hut locations in Canada.

Am I able to change my account information?

You sure can! Make sure you are logged into your Pizza Hut account first, then to change your account information simply click “My Account".

How can I tell how much I’m being charged for delivery service?

The charge for delivery service is included at the bottom of your purchase, underneath the GST/HST.

What is future/advance ordering?

Future or advance ordering enables you to set a time in the future in which you would like to receive your order. If you do not check the box indicating that the order is for a future time/date. You are able to place a future order for the current day. If you would like to place a future order for the current day, you are able to choose time increments of 5 minutes as long as the time you enter is within the hours of operation of your local restaurant hours and at least 20 minutes later than the current time. We also accept orders for future dates! If you would like to place an order for a different day, you can do so up to 7 days in advance.

Who can join Hut Rewards?

Legal residents at least 14 and over of all provinces and territories are eligible for the program.

How do I join Hut Rewards?

To join, visit www.pizzahut.ca. If you are registered to the site, you will need to sign in and click "Get Started!". If you aren’t registered to the site, simply register and check the box to join Hut Rewards.

How do I start earning points?

Online orders of $10.99 or more (excluding tax and delivery charge) will earn a single digital point (stamp). Limit one per day, points will appear within 24hrs after your order.

How do I redeem my rewards points?

After signing into your account, you can redeem your rewards pizzas through your Loyalty Wallet.

How do I get credit/points for past orders?

Points can't be received for past orders.

Can I use my reward for Stuffed Crust or add extra toppings?

You can upgrade your reward to Stuffed Crust and/or add additional toppings for an extra charge.

What counts toward the $10.99 order minimum to be eligible?

The $10.99 includes coupon discounts. Tax, delivery charge and tip excluded.

Is there a delivery minimum on reward orders?

No delivery minimums do not apply to reward orders.

How can I request a donation/sponsorship from Pizza Hut?

As we are a franchise business, all donations and sponsorships are handled directly through our local restaurants. We encourage you to prepare your request in writing and take it with you to your nearest restaurant. By visiting during a non-peak service time, you will increase the opportunity that a Manager will be able to personally meet with you to discuss your interests. They will then gladly share your request with the Franchise Owner who will contact you if they are able to assist you with your request.

What qualifications does Pizza Hut look for in a franchise applicant?

Can owners of other franchises qualify for a Pizza Hut franchise?

Owners of other franchise operations can qualify for a Pizza Hut franchise, provided that they are not in a competing Yum! food business (for example, restaurants featuring quick service or similar menu items).

How are Franchisees selected?

The goal of the Franchisee selection process is to create long-term franchise relationships that will benefit both the Franchisee and PH Canada! The selection process (approx. 12 weeks) begins with the sharing of information. The applicant completes a detailed application form, initiating a series of interviews, followed by background checks (including credit, security, and financial net worth). Applicants are asked to attend an on-the-job evaluation at a local Pizza Hut, providing the applicant an opportunity to evaluate our operational systems and PH Canada a chance to evaluate the applicant’s aptitude for the restaurant environment. Final stages of the selection process include the development and approval of your business and operations plan, which will be discussed during a final interview at our office in Toronto, ON. At any step of the selection process, either party may decide that the process should continue no further.

How much does it cost to become a Pizza Hut Franchisee?

The investment required to open a Pizza Hut restaurant varies, depending on the cost of the site, the type of unit, and whether you are constructing a new unit or purchasing a franchise for an existing unit. The typical investment for our Delivery/Carry-Out (DELCO) units range from $380,000 – $480,000 CDN.

What fees are payable to Pizza Hut?

An initial franchise fee of US $24,200 (US CPI indexed each year at April 1st) and an application fee for new franchisees of $12,000 CDN are payable on every Pizza Hut Delivery/Carryout unit opened (fees will vary for other types of concepts). The Franchisee also pays a monthly royalty of 6% of gross sales and a monthly advertising contribution of 5% of gross sales. Above amounts do not include the initial investment required to construct and operate the restaurant, grand opening expenses, training expenses or opening inventory. Additional fees are required in the event of renewal or an approved transfer of the franchise to another Franchisee.

What do I get in return for my investment?

As a Pizza Hut Franchisee, you will enjoy the satisfaction and rewards of owning your own business. But you’ll also enjoy the ongoing benefits of an established global brand, a system for preparing, marketing, and selling food products, and Pizza Hut’s information, specifications, know-how, and other confidential and proprietary information.

For how many years is the Franchise Agreement?

The initial franchise is granted for a period of 10 years. Assuming the Franchisee meets renewal criteria and pays the current renewal fees, an additional 10 years will be available at the same contractual and financial terms.

Does Pizza Hut provide financing to Franchisees?

Pizza Hut does not provide financing, but does have existing partnerships with banks/financing institutions that have expressed an interest in lending to Pizza Hut franchisees. Pizza Hut approval is required for all financing arrangements.

How much money can I make as a Pizza Hut Franchisee?

The profitability of an outlet is dependent on many factors, including the quality of the location, competition, sales volume, rent, management, and the type and amount of financing. Profitability is ultimately a matter within the control of each Franchisee. It’s your business!

Will Pizza Hut provide the site for me?

Franchisees are responsible for securing their own sites, and have the option to purchase or lease the real estate. Pizza Hut provides site selection criteria and advice to assist with the search. All sites must have Pizza Hut approval prior to securing Lease or Purchase terms.

Who will build my restaurant?

As an independent business person, you are responsible for the construction of your restaurant. Once a site is selected and approved by Pizza Hut, the Pizza Hut Development Team will provide guidance to the Franchisee in the building and equipping of the restaurant to the Pizza Hut approved design.

What training will I receive?

Franchisee applicants (or an applicant’s key operations director) are required to complete an extensive 8-week training program. The trainee must demonstrate proficiency at various stages in the training program. Pizza Hut provides the training curriculum for the training of Managers and Team Members. The Franchisee pays all costs for training during start-up and the ongoing operation of the business.

Can I buy an existing restaurant instead of building a new one?

A limited number of franchises may be available from current Franchisees. Pizza Hut Canada cannot predict when and where those franchises will become available.

Can I Secure a Territory to Develop Multiple Pizza Hut Restaurants?

Depending on your qualifications, we will award franchises for multiple restaurants (under an area development agreement).
